Rug - Toothbrush Knot Rug
Toothbrush Knot Rug
Is another gorgeous handmade creation by local Limestone coast lady, Angela.
This rug is made using old linen and material remnant offcuts.
The Amish made the toothbrush knot rug popular. The technique used to make theses rugs involves the use of an old toothbrush. The brush is modified by cutting the bristle head off then drilling a hole in the handle transforms it into a needle.
The rug is round with a 100cm diameter.
The colour palette is mostly mint green with yellow, grey and a sprinkle of white.
